small portions, greasy, and overpriced. I live a couple of blocks away from this place, and Habachi is by far my favorite kind of takeout food. Naturally, I have tried this place a few times, and I have never left this restaurant satisfied. The only word I can think of to describe this place is sloppy. The food is always extremely greasy, and the chicken is often undercooked and has tendons in it. I tried them one more time tonight and I will never be going back againI paid $9 for a shrimp bowl, and the attached picture is what I got. Obviously, this food is by no means worth the price. I specifically asked for white rice, and yet I got what doesn’t even seem to be a full portion of fried rice. Also, the shrimp seem like they were just pushed off the grill with as much oil and grease as they possibly could have.I highly recommend that you avoid this restaurant. Truthfully, its worth saving the money that you would spend eating here to just save up for a rice cooker, and to make your own stir fry. Two thumbs down.
First time eating there. Got the triple. Not bad but next time I’m staying away from any chicken they serve. The taste AND texture ruined it for me. I got jipped on the amount of steak I was given also. SUM UP: if you go, DONT get chicken and I would call ahead for take out

Bad chicken + long wait + general invalidation of my existence = not worth it.. I have tried this place twice. The first time I got hibachi chicken. Decent considering the quality. The wait time, about 20 minutes, seemed excessive considering it’s a to-go-oriented place and I was only one of a couple of other people in there. Because they have this market cornered (fast food Asian) in this area, I decided to give it another try. And now I want my money back. I got the teriyaki chicken, and it was inedible. I’ll admit I do not have low standards for chicken, however I don’t expect fast food of this nature to be gourmet either. But, I do expect chicken to actually be chicken. This was all fat. Seriously, I found 2 chunks out of at least 10 that were actually chicken (and they were still greasy dark meat and still ~30% fat per chunk). So I did not eat my chicken. The vegetables and rice were good, however I did not intend to pay $8 for vegetables and rice. And, it took 20 minutes to get my food. I almost wouldn’t have minded the wait had the server seemed at all concerned about getting customers there food. But she didn’t, and it seemed like the same thing last time. I saw lots of customers’ food sit on the counter in the kitchen while she hung out in the back. The chef was awesome though, very efficient and quick. The main point however is that even though this place is pretty cheap, the chicken + long wait + general invalidation of my existence by the staff make it not worth $8. Oh AND, it’s especially not worth $8 when you consider that you can pay $8 at MCafe or MVista and get much much better food for their lunch special!! And that’s what I’ll do next time.
