In town for some meetings and saw the crazy high rating on here so we tried it. Good food but not amazing, beer was really good to as they brew in house and service was friendly. Don’t get me wrong it’s solid and maybe other items are amazing but my expectations for a 4.5 are a bit higher than this. It’s worth a try and I would go back to give them at least one more try to improve the review.
The food and atmosphere is great here. The only thing I should warn you about is that it is seat yourself. If it’s really busy you have to try and find a table and there’s no guarantee. The servers are nice but it can get busy and you have to understand that. Other than that this place is good!
Hunter gatherer is pretty great. I just wish that they would bring back the smoked chicken ravioli. However pretty much everything else I’ve tried has been pretty good to say the least.
The food overall was delicious! I ordered the Orange glazed duck with mash potatoes. Although the potatoes were dry, the duck was moist and full of flavor! I would order this again and again.More importantly, there brews were full bodied but didn’t leave you heavy
Timing is everything.. In town for the night and decided to give this place try. good thing we showed up earlier because after 5 the line was out the door. seating is first come Friday serve. love the building and the decor. second floor seating was a plus. Hank was our server, he was great. crab dip was all sorts of gooey goodness. fried duck breast – there are no words. just happiness. Will definitely be back next time we’re in town.
Great food great service. Was there last night. I had the raspberry glazed duck breast. my girlfriend had a lamb gyro. the food was excellent to say the least and our waiter was very nice and fun to talk to. I sampled all 4 beers on tap, they were all very good in their own respects but I settled on the wheat ale. great experience.
Wonderful place! Good was good and beer was great! Service was amazing seeing how busy they were. Plus you can buy beer to take with you! It’s a win win all around! Will be coming back for a refill and dinner with friends!
