I came on the soy ribs day. The ribs were sweet, a little too sweet for me. My six year loved them tho. The macaroni was a no for both of us. The rice was good. The greens were good. I may try this restaurant again, but there’s no rush.
I use to love this place, but since the changing of the hands a few years ago, it has gone down hill. The ambiance is all but gone, I don’t feel like I am walking into a really ‘special’ place any more. The menu was cut back so far that there aren’t options like there us to be, not good. The service is awful I don’t feel welcome like I use to, and that in itself makes me want to stay away. How ever, the food is still top notch, her daddy taught her well, so I will still go in occasionally and grab take out.
Passing through Columbia around lunch, so we stopped in. I had daily protein (ribs). They were decent, got spicier with each bite and I strongly suspect chocolate was involved. But the mac and cheese side was AMAZING, and herbed potatoes were good. Lots of different flavors in my meal, especially when you add the fresh juice (I got strawberry lime). Husband got a Philly steak and thought it was amazing (I tasted his- REALLY GOOD). He loved the Sorrell juice (not a flavor I’m into so I passed). It’s not flashy, but it IS Good! Worth a repeat trip!
It was very good. My husband and I were excited to try this place because it sells vegan dishes. I think this was a great place for us to try vegan dishes. The food was good. The cupcakes are AMAZING!! I know that they don’t make the cupcakes, but still it was AMAZING!!
Incredibly dissapointing. I really don’t even know what to say…I went to this place a few years ago, and had a wonderful experience. The food was awesome. The service was awesome. And, I don’t remember the prices being outrageous.Well, yesterday I went and had the complete opposite experience. The food was… okay. But, for 11.50 an entree, it should be awesome. The curry potatoes were cold. My pasta was crunchy and hard. The sandwiches were decent, but definitely something I could have replicated at home for a much cheaper price.The service was bad… and odd. I felt like I was bothering the person running the restaurant with my questions. And, he wasn’t very friendly at all.It was just a really upsetting experience. I will not be returning.
Reuben was legit, didn’t even miss the meat. Smoothies are awesome. Cookies for desert. It was like taking a trip to a foreign land. Awesome for Columbia. This place has flair.
Fantastic! The food was great & the owner even gave me a few extra items I had never had before to taste test.
