My family and I was served by a young man named Adrian. Adrian knew four things very well: (1) What substitutions were possible, (2) How to individually make sure each of us were well taken care of, (3) the sources and differences in the menu items (where the food was purchased and differences in those types of foods, and (4) enjoyed his work. Each of these traits matter..as a business consultant who teaches these things..and others…I know. The food was very good, but without the exceptional service it would just be another good restaurant to us. However, I believe when customer service is THAT good it should be rewarded. I asked to speak with his manager, Jacob, and explained how well we enjoyed the service.
I was told that I had to pull my sleeves down; the didn’t like my Bernie Sanders tattoo exposed on my arm. When I refused I was told I wouldn’t be seated? I just don’t understand what is going on here? I was starving!
She Crab soup was excellent. Shrimp and grits very good. Service was good. Read a few negative reviews but our experience was very positive.
Sinking ship. Sunday 2pm and you have to wait an hour for 4 salads? blue ribbon chicken salad used to come with a full chicken breast. All four of our salads MAY have had one breast combined. Could not have been more than one chicken finger on salad. you pay $6 for a pint of beer… give me some food. not going back.

Going down hill quick. Went for lunch thinking it would be well within the 45 minute time span I was hoping to be served a lunch sandwich. I had the Club and it seriously took them 50 minutes to have it to my table, without the side I had with it. I asked for a to go box and the waitress brought me the side dish in a tiny to-go container as I was walking out the door. It wasn’t even crowded. It tasted pretty good though as I crammed it down my throat in the remaining 3 minutes of lunch break I got in my office. There are too many good restaurants in the Vista to waste your time here. Jason’s has better sandwiches, Mellow Mushroom has better pizza, Motor Supply has better steaks and fresh catch type food, and everywhere has better service.
Food tasted like something you would get from a middle school cafeteria.
