Favorite restaurant in Columbia! Mediterranean food doesn’t get any better… Simple, fresh ingredients, and delicious food.
LOVE this place!. We have been going here for over 10 years. This was my first taste of kofta, hummus, tabbouli, etc., and I absolutely loved it all. I have not yet found another ‘mediterranean’ restaurant that compares to the Tea Room.
Mediterranean Heaven. The salad, the dressing, the TOMATOES… I LOVE the tomatoes. Okay, this truly is a one of a kind Mediterranean restaurant. The staff is wonderful, Mandy is the sunshine of the place! I always get whatever is on special and it has always been to die for but there is something about those salads and tomatoes that just make crave it for days. I love the hummus and baba…the grilled chicken, salmon AND the shawarma wrap! My #1 place to dine.
SO GOOD. When I first went to Mediterranean Tea Room on Devine St. I was extremely picky and skeptical because of the appearance and the fact that you seat yourself. I was also scared of eating meat at restaurants so I did not really know what to eat there. I ended up trying their eggplant appetizer, hummus, and grilled chicken. It was absolutely delicious and the service was great. The food is authentic and they have the most beautifully red and delicious tomatoes I have ever tasted. Their prices are also pretty low and I find it is often hard to find a restaurant with such fresh produce and great food with that low of prices. I really enjoy this restaurant every time I go; I have never been disappointed. I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know. Great atmosphere, great food, great service; what is there to complain about?
Disappointing. The falafel and the tahini were very bland. the middle eastern potatoes were french fries. I love mediterranean food and I thought this was very disappointing. I will not go back.
The hummus was excellent. Feta was fresh. Even better than the feta we had in Greece. Chicken kebabs were tender and juicy. Portions were large. Ambience was great. Waiter (Daniel) was awesome. Our monthly date night away from our children was a success. Thank you. HIGHLY recommend.
Yummy!. For some reason I never think of going there. It is always friend that want to visit this place. But I like it. It is noisy and crowded, but the food tastes good.
