I wanted to like Mediterranean Tea Room, but it just fell so short of expectations. I was waiting to try this place for months! It’s not bad, it’s just…okay. On the vegetarian platter falafel was a little dry (and only 3 tiny chunks!), the tabouleh was almost all parsley and just a few chunks of tomato, hummus was nothing special. The pita bread itself was probably the biggest disappointment. I couldn’t tell much of a difference from packaged grocery store pita bread. My companion had the kofta kebab, and she didn’t find it anything special, either. I felt I should’ve gotten more or better quality for the money. If you’re looking for similar fare, I’d go just a little further down the road and hit up Arabesque. Their naan is excellent and their food is so much more flavorful and better priced for the portions.

Best Mediterranean food in Richland county. Been around since I was a kid. Very very consistent and delicious. Salmon and tilapia specials are my favorite and you can’t go wrong with the grilled chicken.
