Gem in an unlikely place. I had coming here for a long time. Switched owners a few times. Now the original owners somehow decided to to come back! yay. Hands down the best sushi in town. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but ahi salad is the bomb. It’s almost Hawaii quality sushi in this small town in SC. Right outside the gate at Ft. Jackson. Strange location and now the original owners are back and so am I. Glad I have my go to hole in the wall sushi joint back.
Definitely the best sushi in Columbia. A real hIdden gem but delicious.
Bets sushi in Columbia. This is definitely the best sushi in Columbia. The fish and rice are very fresh. The rolls are delicious and they have a lot of other items like the tuna salad that I really enjoyed. Beers come with frosty glasses, and they provided a free appetizer of miso soup. Pricing can be a little higher than other places, but it’s worth it. My only complaint is the atmosphere, which leaves a lot to be desired. They have karaoke after 9:00 PM, and it can be a lot of fun to go to in a group. However the building this is in is definitely dated. Old booths and old decor, in a run-down looking mini-strip mall next to Fort Jackson. I sat right behind a fish tank that was low on water, so I had to listen to the filter pouring water into the tank all night. Even worse, the tank obviously hadn’t been cleaned in at least a year, and I had a disgusting old fish tank smell during my entire dinner. If you choose a better seat, this is actually a decent place for a date, since it’s quiet and you’re left alone if you want it. Just choose a better seat.
Best Sushi in Columbia. This hidden gem is worth the drive. The biggest, juciest chunks of fish, reasonable prices, and extra appetizers free from the kitchen if the staff thinks the wait is too long. This is great date spot, night out with friends spot, or just general gorging yourself with deliciousness spot. I’ll be back as much as possible.
Sudden winter cold rimed landscape of Fort Jackson melt me with sushi
