I love this place. The service was spot on and the food was delicious. Wing night Wednesday is by far the best bang for your buck. $6 domestic pitchers and $0.60 wings.
The Edisto slaw is the bomb!
It’s been a long while since I last ate at the Nut and the food has definitely fallen off. Not nearly as good as it used to be. Everything lacked flavor. Great place to drink, though
Decent food and cheap drinks counterbalance the frat boys, sorority girls pulling on Marlboro Ultras, and old sketchy men at the back bar. On warm sunny days the back deck is swarming with people. The booths inside have tv’s to watch the game. Recommend the Basic Burger, add cheese & bacon!
Get the Pimento Cheese Fries-To Go!. Not the most fun place to hang around in, unless you’re with a large enough group, but worth visiting to order the pimento cheese fries when you want delicious, horrible for you, fries and cheese. They also have good deals on long island iced tea pitchers if you’re inclined to stay.
If you can get past the swarm of d-bag frat boys that populate the area, the food is actually pretty good
