Made a reservation here for my birthday family dinner. The eggplant fries and empanadas were both wonderful appetizers. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the duck, scallops, filet and paso bucco all wonderfully prepared. Dessert was a little disappointing, few choices and the peanut butter chocolate thing was meh at best. Service was wonderful. Would definitely try again and sit outside when warmer

Consistently amazing food!. I’ve been here a number of times over the past year and it is consistently amazing food. I was impressed, as always, by tonight’s specials. Melt in your mouth fillet, perfectly cooked on a kabob with a cherry reduction and blue cheese fondue. An amazing salad the tasted like summer. Wild salmon which, of course, melted in your mouth with a black bean glaze, roasted fennel and summer squash, and an herb sauce that was divine. Jambalya with black beans, forbidden rice, juicy shrimp and flavorful rabbit sausage with fresh roasted veggies tucked in. A peach cobbler with restrained level of mint and a topping that was heaven in my mouth. Service was great and we sat on the porch on a gorgeous South Carolina summer night. It couldn’t have been more perfect! I’d like to add that I grew up in DC and NYC and have lived in other foodie cities in my adult life, Charleston SC and Raleigh NC… but, this place is definitely one in a million!

Delicious!. We ate here for my birthday last week for the second time. We had a great experience – both the food and service were top notch. I had the filet (with truffle fries instead of mashed potatoes, yum!) and my husband had the special (a steak with crawfish and sweet potato puree). Both of our entrees were excellent, especially the filet. The black truffle butter was the perfect compliment to the tender steak. One of the better steaks I’ve had. I can’t wait to go back again!

It was supposed to be this really nice expensive place so we get there and the guy reads us the specials for like 5 minutes. Then I ordered a wedge salad and it was soooo small. I ordered it with bacon and it came with it on. The lettuce was like wilted and the dressing was supposed to be ranch but It was something weird. Then he brought 3 plates of bread but didn’t give us one. He left it on a little table close. He didn’t write our order down but then came back to make sure he had it right. Then our steaks came and they were supposed to medium rare and they weren’t pink at all. So he took them back and gave us an appetizer while we waited. The calamari was weird too. Had way too much seasoning. Then when we got out steaks they were still not pink lol there were people around us complaining about their food too.

Owner comments clueless. I have been perusing the comments to decide whether to buy a groupon to this restaurant. I find it amusing that the owner is commenting on negative reviews that were posted 2 years ago. His reply is to point out that, gosh, they are only open for dinner, when the reviewers stated that they were there for brunch on a Sunday. As if to suggest the critics are idiots and are confused about which restaurant they had the bad experience. News flash, owner, you WERE open Sundays from 11-2 back in 2010. Get off your high horse.
