Very basic sushi, especially considering the name of the restaurant has Sushi in it. Taste was fine. Another reviewer said that it was upscale….the avg price per roll was about $8. There were 2 rolls that were $13, but most others were around $8 – 8.50. That’s below average, unless you typically buy your sushi from a grocery store. The rolls were standard with no real flair. Nothing overly imaginative or creative. The restaurant seemed pretty clean, and the staff was friendly.
Recently transplanted to S.C. we have been in search of a sushi restaurant. We would have settled for decent, however, instead what we found is Sushi Nirvana! Sushi Yoshi is glorious! Everything we have tried is delicious, fresh, and well just amazing! It’s a 45 minute drive for us and well worth it. My suggestion to anyone who loves sushi is go here, go here now!!

The BEST sushi in columbia! Small, private-the best service…great prices!
Yummy!!. I have been going to Sushi Yoshi for 10+ years. I am NEVER disappointed. The food is WONDERFUL & the owner is so very nice. I highly recommend this place & the owner, Mia, is the sweetest hostess in the world! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!
Great food, great atmosphere. Sushi Yoshi has been my go-to sushi house for about two years now. It is incredibly consistent and I have such confidence in the quality and consistency of the food and service that I never hesitate bringing guests any day of the week at any time of day. It is a small operation with few staff, so don’t plan on an eat-and-run dinner. That being said, the timing is always reasonable compared to other upper-scale restaurants. You can feel a real sense of the Japanese culture in the care put into the service and presentation of the food. It always looks beautiful and has a sense of intentionality put into it.It does come at a price, though. I’ve never found that price to be less than $25/head, often more. If you can afford it and/or feel like doing something special, it is 100% worth it.
Wonderful, Special Occasion Sushi. Sushi Yoshi is one of the best sushi spots in town. However, it’s pricier than some, making it a special occasion spot rather than a regular spot. Always delicious, always great service, always a relaxing atmosphere. Try this place at least once if you enjoy sushi.
