Great food at a great price. The service at McConkey’s is also top notch. It’s my favorite place to eat on Edisto. Their Mai Mai fish tacos are the best fish tacos I’ve ever had.
So delicious! My hubby and I kept coming back. Everything we tried was great! Plus the sweet tea is unbeatable!

Really Good. There are very few places to eat on Edisto Island so I did a bit of research before I went. The reviews for this place were mostly positive and it did not disappoint. The place is small and fills up quickly so you should eat early or late if you don’t want to wait. The crab cakes were excellent as were the fish tacos. The service was equally good and didn’t seem at all put out by wanting to split a combo with another person in your party the way some places do.
Jungle shack on Jungle Rd.. We love going here and they are able to accommodate our grandson with Gluten-free bread and rolls! Prices are right, and the menu is diverse enough for any family to have seafood, burgers, chicken, hotdogs, subs etc. Not fancy and you eat on a porch or a small ac dining room…..It is Edisto!
No frills. Tried shrimp and chips. Wife had fish and chips. Both meals were very good and plentiful. Seafood was definitely fresh. Also, key lime pie was worthy of trying. Also they get extra credit for serving malt vinegar with fresh chips.Atmosphere was about as causal as I could imagine. Felt like I was eating on my back patio.
Ate here in Sept 2013. Food was terrible, barely edible. Don’t waste your money or time on this place. Whaley’s is much better
