Probably my favorite place for She crab soup. Like even more than the best places in Charleston for soup. I enjoy the crab cakes too. Almost all crab and not so overly seasoned that you cannot taste the crab. Just right. Anytime I have been there someone at our table orders a scallops dish and they all are superb. My nephew (17) who usually eats in upscale restaurants loves it there. He usually has a steak type dinner since he’s not a seafood lover. Always enjoys his dinner even likes their burgers. Their appetizers are really good I recommend the fried green tomatoes and of course the soup. Definitely my favorite place for dinner on Edisto.

Service was slow. We ordered the my steak special and asked for medium. It mooed when I cut into it. Steak had good flavor but lots of gristle. We won’t be back on our next trip to Edisto.

Went to several restaurants during my week during in Edisto an Waterfront is bar none the best. Great service, food, and Atmosphere is superb. Jeff the Manager was very hands on and provided top notch hospitality. You have got to check this place out

Bit pricy, good food.. I came here in March with my boyfriend and his family. We came right after it opened for the evening and were able to get right in (surprisingly… there were nine of us). Our waitress was really nice. She didn’t charge extra for refills on the specialty drinks. One member of the party got all you can eat crab legs, so we ended up staying for about two hours. They didn’t rush us to leave or force the check out before we were ready. The food came out fairly quickly. I had fried sea scallops and they were huge! They were extremely delicious. There weren’t any complaints about any of the food, which is kind of amazing considering the number of personalities and opinions in our party. I’d say it is a pretty good little place to eat at Edisto. Kinda pricy, but still really good.

Slightly above average.. A puddle in the parking lot was the closest we got to the water which is two blocks away. My wife got the low country stir fry which was flavorful and far better than my seafood combination (over cooked fish and not very good tasting crab-cakes although there was plenty of crab in it) Service was very good – early in the evening and sparsely populated. The she crab soup was very good but, I’m hardly expert in this area. The map is wrong – it’s on Jungle Road.

Cucumbers on salad werereally good. Service was good. Food was underwhelming. I think perhaps the mussel’s were the least flavorful I’ve ever had.

Edisto keeps missing the mark on food. She-crab soup not hot and over priced for the size. Salad and soup dishes never cleared from table. Fried Flounder sandwich sub-par. Fries very salty, over seasoned. Soda does have free refills (fountain drinks). Supposedly they have a blue plate special everyday but our server did not inform of us as such- we saw a sign on the way out. We gave it a shot- would not return.
