My boyfriend and I both enjoyed the Red Snapper Special. Pan seared with an Old Bay Crab cream sauce. Red Rice and Green Beans were our sides. The best Red Rice I’ve had in a while… Smoked Sausage and bacon, onions and tomato paste made for a perfect texture! Snapper was fresh caught and wonderfully cooked. We were very happy with our experience and the waitstaff is down to earth. Menu pricing is average.
Been here over 50 times and never a bad experience!. Every Sunday during the warm months, mid March until mid October, we are at the beach. We get up early so we can be at the Waterfront by 11am. The buffet is from 11am-2pm, one reviewer said they advertised breakfast buffet until 3pm which is wrong, they have it clearly stated on the sign and menus it is only until 2pm. The breakfast is all my daughter eats, it is your normal breakfast of eggs, grits, sausage, bacon, pancakes, and fruit. The lunch buffet is all Southern cooking, it changes all the time. When we spend a week during the summer or visit friends during the week we go for dinner. The portions are big and the food is always wonderful. The people working there are great, we have only had less than stellar service once and that person is no longer there or at least we haven’t seen her in over a year. Yes, prices are on the higher side but the saying you get what you pay for is so true! Like with anywhere on the island you have to time it right. If you get there at the busy times you could wait an hour or so to sit. We know what time to go and never wait. But it is even worth the wait!
