Great spot for food and hospitality. We had burgers, one stacked with onion rings and their own sauce and one called the hickory burger, which had barbecue sauce and bacon. The hit of the lunch was the side my husband had – cheese grits. Yes, that’s right , they serve cheese grits as one choice among the normal fries, baked potatoes, onion rings! My husband said they were the very best he had ever eaten (and he has eaten a lot of grits). We’ll be stopping there again, for sure. And the service was superb!
Great good and service. We stop for lunch coming from Florida to New Jersey they have us free chicken sampler food was fast and delicious and not expensive. We recommend this restaurant, service was excellent (April)
Met a dear friend for our birthday (15th) to have lunch on 7/16/14. Our waitress was super sweet (Brittany) and was on point with friendly service. I had the rib eye and my friend had the sirloin. Our steaks were cooked perfectly (Med.rare & med.)and were like butter! We couldn’t have picked a better restaurant to celebrate our birthday! Thanks Fatz Cafe in Florence, SC for making our birthday lunch one to remember! We stayed for about 3 hrs just enjoying the atmosphere and lingering over dessert and great conversation. Well done Fatz!! (I turned 43 & my friend turned 68)

Went to Fatz based off ratings while I was driving north on I95. Better than any fast food off the hwy. I had the fried green tomatoes and the jalopeno burger. Both were good. My husband had the ribeye. Surprising it was good too. Loaded potato soup was not great and needed salt. All and all a good choice if your looking for something to eat when your on the road nearby.
Excellent food and service. Got to the restaurant 35 minutes before close, was about to leave but they told us to come in anyway. Service was amazing and the chicken was delicious. Right off I95. We stayed at the comfort suites across the street (brand new hotel). Great stop if you are traveling on 95 and need a place to stay.
