Huge selection. Ive been to a few Golden Corrals and have not been very impressed, but I was more impressed with this one. To me, food quality was still marginal and the place was messy. We had arrived late in the evening, likely after whatever rush had come and gone. But I think I understand the concept, and they delivered, and then some, on what I would expect.I think Golden Corral is more a quantity buffet place and they offered a HUGE selection of items. They even had cotton candy for the kids, and the kids I saw really liked it. There was so much to choose from, and that was a big plus.Service, as it were, was also friendly and good. It is a buffet so you pretty much do for yourself, but we did get a drink refill and checked on a few times to see if all was well. The person who took our money when we first walked in was nice, and the appreciated goodbyes from the staff when we left were nice and I believe even sincere.Totally not food related or visit related, to me Golden Corrals involvement with Veterans is important and a good reason to also patronize their restaurants. Support the businesses that support the troops. I should visit a Golden Corral more often.

They keep the bars stocked with fresh food and generally speaking the staff is friendly. I’ve been here a couple of times in the middle of the week during dinner time and had the same waiter unfortunately. He was friendly but terrible with getting drink refills and clearing plates (which is all they have to do now that you get your own plates and silverware). Beware of the chocolate fountain. It’s an awesome idea but I’ve seen too many little children go up to it unattended and stick their fingers in it. Gross!
