Not good. Not worth the money. I had a chicken and a beef burrito. Very small burritos-A tortilla with a little chicken and some wilted lettuce on the top. The beef burrito was very skimpy and the grease was not drained from the ground beef. I’d pass on this mexican restaurant.

Something to be desired…. La Bamba has two great things going for it: no smoking and Sunday alcohol sales. The food…well, that leaves something to be desired. I went on a recommendation that they served the best Mexican food in Florence, but the food on our first visit was pretty awful. Nothing was fresh; canned tomato sauce, canned beans, tamales that seem to have been frozen. Our meals contained almost no spice–the food didn’t really taste Mexican at all. The ambiance was pleasant but the food a huge disappointment. I’ll give it another try since dining options in Florence–particularly smoke-free dining–are limited, but my first impression was not a good one.
The food was good while service and price achieved excellance. Two different kinds of salsa are offerred and a third was delivered . It was a nice relaxing lunch. Give it a try.
Highly recommended. This is hands down the best Mexican in Florence. The service is good and the portions are plentiful. I love the goat cheese, and I had never had it before eating here.
Best Mexican in Florence. This is my favorite Mexican Restaurant in Florence, their quesadillas are the best!
