It was a Saturday afternoon when we went to Red Lobster in Florence, SC. We ordered from the lunch specials. We each had the wee serving of very good clam chowder and the grilled shrimp salad. The head lettuce was cold and crisp, the one, two, three, four small grilled shrimp were also cold and tough. Their famed cheesy biscuits arrived late and were gummy in the center. I asked our charming waitress to have them put back in the oven for a few minutes. Upon their return they were somewhat better. Never again!

So sad. I have given up on Red Lobster for good food. Every time I have visited the local Red Lobster in Florence, SC I walked out unhappy. I returned only because of a gift card that was given to me. Our fancy alcoholic drinks were over sweetened, the salads were wilted and drenched, the talapia had little flavor other than salt (which I added none) and it had no texture. The desserts are available at the local Sams Club in Florence. We finished none of the meal and left unhappy again. I think the local Red Lobster has become nothing more than a over priced, dining spot for the lower class.
