Pleasantly suprised!. Good sashimi, good service. Will definitely return.
Sakura is our favorite!. My whole family loves Sakura! It is consistently wonderful and you can’t beat the service! We even go there if we are in a hurry to make it to a movie, because the service is so fast. Since they prepare the food after you order, I don’t know how they do it so quickly! It doesn’t offer a lot of the fancy sushi rolls that are often found at trendier places, but the traditional fare is all we need because it is so good!
Love the restaurant, the food is the best. The menu online really needs updating and more readable.
Overrated for sure. I have had better sushi in Vegas, Florida, Texas and Washington, pensylvsnia and ohio. Pretty anywhere else I have been This is very subpar and the service was poor. Waiting staff ignored customers until they absolutely had to. Not only were we ignored but several people were as well. If snubbing your customers was a metric at which to gauge success they would be awesome, but for me I would prefer fresh fish and rice because the rice sucked as well
Great Sushi!!. Wow, didn’t think I’d find a great sushi in Columbia, SC. Not true! Sakura is a great place to eat sushi. Will definitely be coming back
Good Japanese. Casual, low-key, friendly atmosphere combined with excellent sushi and Japanese food. I’ve had better Japanese food, but not in Columbia, and not with such an agreeable atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Enjoyed this place. Also felt the food was better that at any of the Miyo’s locations. Sushi was very good and the teriyaki chicken was excellent.
