  We ordered a pizza from village idiot last night around 8pm. We were unsure if they delivered to us but were assured by both the girl who answered the phone that they did and it wouldn’t be a problem at all. We were told about 45 minutes which we expected as it was a Friday night. At about 930 I started to really wonder where our dinner was- we called them back only to find out they closed at 9. Hmmm. We called their 5 points location to be told we could pick up a pizza- with a second charge as the forest acres location had already charged our card- or we could call them tomorrow. When my husband called today he was told that they never should have taken the order and that 5 points delivered to us. As they obviously don’t. No explanation as to why they didn’t CALL us and let us know which would seem the reasonable and accountable thing to do. As a result, we had no dinner until 11pm when papa johns showed up, as at this point it was too late to get pizza elsewhere. We will never order from this restaurant again and we will let our friends know about the crappy service as there are many other places to enjoy pizza in Columbia. The disregard shown by not even calling back to let us know and the lack of regard today just lets us know they they obviously don’t care about our business, or the happiness of their customers. My husband and I both work in the service industry and completely understand the blatant disregard this shows.
