Customer from Charlotte. Yesterday was the first time I have eaten at the Wing King Cafe in Fort Mill, SC. I had a wonderful experience. My waitress Jordan was super nice and took the time to explain the specials and her recommendations. The food was served quickly and was delicious. Great atmosphere for sporting events. It was a nice change of pace to have such a friendly waitress who smiled and made sure I was enjoying my experience. Great job Jordan!
Wing King Fort Mill. Yesterday was the 2nd time I have been to this restaurant. Both times we had to wait a very long time to get our order even though the restaurant was not half full. Yesterday’s order for 4 adults and 2 children took 40 minutes to arrive with only 5 other tables needing service. We ordered the King Sampler Platter yesterday. 4 of the wings had rubbery, not crispy skin. We reviewed our bill when we arrived at home because it didn’t seem to add up. We were over charged by $2.00 for the Sampler Platter. I thought it odd and remembered the price. When checking the menu on line I was able to verify that I was correct in remembering the price. If they are over charging every customer by $2.00 they are pocketing quite a nice profit for no product. I would not recommend this restaurant in any way. There is another wing restaurant in Baxter which has never given us anything but good service and much better food. The food at Wing King is a 4-5 on a 10 scale.
I’ve been here a few times, and the hours are on the door, but 2x we have been ran out at 9:30. Whatsv the deal?
Great wings
HORRIBLE SERVICE. We went in to have lunch today with a group of co-workers. After waiting for an hour for our food to come, having no drink refills and having to take our food to go immediately on arrival we gave the waitress our credit cards and left no TIP; mainly because she did not wait on us….AT ALL. We were ignored for a group of fireman…as were several other tables in our area. They ordered, ate, paid their bill and left before anyone else was even served. When the waitress realized she had no TIP she confronted us, several times, and asked if we realized how busy she was and that SHE SHOULD HAVE ADDED GRATUITY to our check so we would have been forced to leave her money. WHAT????? Anytime I’ve been in this place at lunch they are understaffed, unprepaired and have a obviously forgotten what the point of a TIP is. WE WILL FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO EAT LUNCH AND WILL NOT BE RETURNING HERE. They should seriously rethink the importance of lunch revenue and consider hiring professionals instead of an arrogant, rude wait staff who assume a TIP is given whether they do their job or not. HORRIBLE PLACE TO EAT.
Cool Joint / Good wings. ~We slipped in here yesterday at lunch to enjoy some wings’n beer and was able to catch the Reds at Pittsburgh Pirates game thanks to the savvy bartender. 3 outta 4 were great… my Pirates lost. The Maui-Wowie flavor (recommended by that savvy girl bartender) were a hit and the salt & pepper were a nice complement to my ice cold Shocktop draft. Monday nights the corn hole games played here are to be a good night to enjoy a fun & festive crowd at Wing king cafe. ~fyi
Good Sports Bar. The atmosphere is loud and fun. It’s a sports bar in every way. I got the traditional hot buffalo wings and have to say they are the best in the Charlotte area outside of my kitchen. They had a good marriage of Red Hot heat and white pepper heat. I also like the layout of the bar area; If you can get a seat, I bet it’s a nice place to watch a game. The prices are as expected and they have wing specials on Tuesdays. As of writing this, every Tuesday they have cornhole competitions on the large patio–expect a big crowd.
