Amazing fresh food. All dishes made to order. Wonderful menu with unique daily specials. Had a party of 12 the service was great thank you Andi! Needs to get their liquor license tho! Chicken piccata is my go to dish and I loved it! Will def come back next yr for our annual golf trip!
The best kept secret in the Pawleys Island and the Myrtle Beach area!! The food is amazing with such a great blend of flavors. We go whenever we are in town, sometimes 2-3 nights in a row. They use the freshest local fish and shrimp and each meal is made individually. Their tomato basil soup is amazing. Their dressings are the best homemade. I love their large, local shrimp and pasta which comes gently spicy or not–hard to choose. Tonight we had the best eggplant appetizer with prosciutto, cheese and their marinara sauce–My husband and I decided would eat it next time as an entree is was so delicious. Don’t forget to try their Limoncello cake–so moist and not overly sweet or tart, has beautiful lemon flavor. I ordered a piece and only had one bite because everyone at the table liked it so much! The owners and waitstaff are all friendly and ready to help. I don’t want to forget to mention their beautifully shaded patio which they have continued to expand but it remains cozy. The beautiful plants and fountain keep it quiet and secluded from the street noise and nice & cool. We went at 6:00 pm on a 94 degree day and it was very pleasant even for those in our party who don’t like the heat. We traveled this year with my parents to the beach and they agreed–a terrific place to eat!! They have been around the world and couldn’t stop raving about the food and the atmosphere!! Truly a gem!!
Outstanding Service-Delicious Food-Gluten Free Options. We had a wonderful dinner at Cafe Piccolo in late June 2013. I have Celiac disease and was so surprised that they not only had gluten free pasta available they also have gluten free BREAD. Do you know how many years I’ve been watching my family eat bread at the dinner table and I have to abstain?! Not only that it was GOOD bread! And I got my Italian fix with some Penne and Marinara. You no longer have to suffer if you’re Gluten Free and you’re at Pawleys. You get it all here. Our waiter was outstanding and it was probably some of the best table service we’ve had ever in any restaurant. My family all enjoyed their dishes as well even though their tastes range widely–even the children liked what they had and ate every bite.
August 5.2015. A perfect lunch. We each had chicken piccata with linguini in a lovely lemony wine sauce with capers and Italian parsley. We finished the sauce with the last of the pane. My side salad with Gorgonzola dressing was ideal. Barc enjoyed the tomato basil soup so much he had me try it. I had coffee, Barc had beer. Harold was our excellent server. I peeked behind the bar to give my compliments to the cook who got everything right. Five stars from me!September 18.2012. Pawleys finest in South Carolina. Four of us had dinner at Caffe Piccolo. It is a small restaurant connected to a health food store. One person in our foursome is on a very restrictive diet. The chef accommodated her every need. We were each quite happy with every aspect of our evening. This is my number one favorite place to eat in the area. Hard to find but worth the search.
