Was riding by and saw this place. Great service!!! Will let you know about the food!!!
We arrived at the restaurant around 7:20 and were told our wait would be no more than 40 minutes when, clearly there were many tables open. Half of our party went to the bar while the others waited outside with our buzzer. When we realized many families were being sat before us, we approached the hostess and she they had forgotten us and we would get the next open table. 10 minutes later we were seated in the outdoor patio which had been vacant for our entire wait. We were frustrated because it was very humid and after all the confusion they couldn’t even give us a table in the air conditioning. We were then waited on and our waitress was pleasant but got one of your orders wrong. Also the food is completely over priced. $24 for 4 pieces of fried flounder, shrimp and a baked potato? It was greasy and seemed like bar food. One of us also got a tuna steak which was over cooked and flavorless. They waitress was very apologetic but did not offer us any sort of discount or try to make up for the bad hosting service and poor quality of food. I would not recommend this restaurant and we will not be returning.
Greatest seafood anywhere
Good food and service. Try the baskets and conch fritters…very good. Lunch specials worth it. We’ll be back.
I can assure you this is the place to visit for GREAT crab legs! It seems to be where the locals enjoy. Funky, crab-shack, atmosphere with paper towel napkins and awesome hush puppies. Pretty calm and quiet. Great service and overall awesome!
The servers were very nice, the portions were huge (even off the lunch menu), and the place was full of locals; but even with 17 bottled beer choices (nothing on tap) the beer selections are disappointing. The food was just Ok, and the restaurant lacks a view. Probably not a place I’d revisit; I feel bad saying that after such excellent service, the servers are worthy of a better venue.
Do Not Miss!. Server at near-by Waffle House turned us on to this gem. If you want to know where to get the best local food ask a server! The she-crab soup was worth the trip from Buffalo. The onion rings are fresh and cooked to perfection. If you order an entree, figure on finishing it for lunch the next day! A basket is a normal meal for most. Freshest seafood! No ‘fishy’ taste..definitely not frozen or ‘portion control’ crap! fyi.. had fried shrimp basket.. counted 16 perfectly cooked little critters with perfectly crusted jackets! Down in MB for a week; dinner at the Inlet twice!
