Excellent Service and Food. The service was really friendly and easy to get along with. The food was AMAZING!!!! Went in on the Thursday night when a great band made the moment all the better… My family and I couldn’t have had a better time! Two thumbs up to the PIT!
Long wait for mediocre food. To begin with, we had to wait over 1 1/2 hours for a seat when the hostess claimed it’d only be about 45-50 minutes. When we finally did get seated, our waitress barely came to our table. To their credit, it seemed we just got the worst waitress because the other two working that night seemed to be significantly more active.I ordered the fried platter with oysters, flounder, and scallops. All three tasted pretty bland and the oysters were not fresh. Two other people I was with also agreed about the freshness and quality of the seafood. Will never come here again.
So much fun. The most fun restaurant and bar on Pawleys! Laid back, local, good food, great burgers, cold beer, good music, terrific vibe. Can be a wait, but sit at the bar outside and enjoy the crowd and the music. Very very casual, perfect for the beach.
I had my rehearsal dinner here bc it’s that good. Not for the pretentious but if you like delicious honest food this is your place. The PIT is almost a form of food religion for our family. You really can’t go wrong.
Couldn’t have been any better. The crab cakes are the best I’ve had ever and I order them regularly. These are as good as the ones The Lake Place served as an appetizer years ago.Excellent!
