Surprisingly not bad. The wife and i went here for dinner last night. we got there expecting a little bit more of an upscale place. the ambience of the sawgrass room itself (just the dining room adjacent to the oak grille, the bar/grill attached to the golf course) is definitely country club. that being said, it was our only complaint-like comment on the place. the food, service, wine and drink selection and value are really surprisingly good. it’s only open on thursday and friday for dinner, but we would almost rather go to the oak grille next door, which is a bit more clubby (oak walls, etc). we sort of found the place by accident and ended up being very happy with it despite the initial country club vibe. really…give it a try.
