Waste of $ for dinner. Our family ate at Webster’s for dinner in July of 2013. We had been looking forward to trying the restaurant. We were extremely disappointed at our menu items. My ravenous teenaged son who loves BBQ did not even eat half his sandwich. The chips (cooked there I guess) were overly greasy. They looked as tasted awful. My dish – shrimp and grits – was absolutely the worst I have ever had. The shrimp were rubbery – I do not even know if they were fresh as I had somehow expected them to be. The grits had bits of undercooked grits in them. It was so bad!!! Even the salads were bad! How can you mess up salad? I would say the best looking meal was my daughters plate of sliders ! They looked over charred to me but she ate them all. She did not eat her disgusting oily or double cooked chips either. What a waste of time and money. I will not go back to Websters.
Same as last year. We just returned from another stay, and the breakfast at Webster’s was fundamentally the same as last year. Good option if you are staying at Litchfield.02 May, 2010Breakfast buffet. Our package at the Litchfield Beach and Golf Resort included breakfast each day at Webster’s Lowcountry Grill. The buffet was always well-stocked and the food of good quality. Typical breakfast fare with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, oatmeal, grits, biscuits, scrambled eggs, pancakes or french toast, and a couple of breakfast meats (link sausage, country ham, bacon). Fresh omelette station, too, if you want to wait. The dining room is clean, and the wait staff does a good job of keeping coffee and juice cups full.
Brunch. We stayed at the Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort which included the Webster’s brunch in our condo rate. The food and service at Websters were both very good.
