Had a pleasant experience. The waiter was nice and manager was walking the floor interacting with guests. Our food was fast, fresh and hot. We really enjoyed our dinner and will return again.

Sorry Food / Attitude. Went here last night and was disappointed as they had cancelled their outdoor oyster roast for Halloween. Ate inside and what a mistake. Both the wife and I had Shrimp Scampi for $16.99. We sent them both back, one could see they were overcooked and they certainly were. The next two were better but hardly any garlic in the sauce. I suggest Red Lobster or Captain D’s, this is not the place for seafood.

My husband and I really enjoyed our meal. I had the shrimp burger which was a highly satisfying new experience for me, de-lish! For sides I had the green beans (which were pretty standard southern style) and a salad, which was fresh and I was impressed with the availability of a balsamic vinaigrette as many southern restaurants don’t have it. My husband had the low country stir fry which included sausage, shrimp, cabbage and rice. He really enjoyed it, along with the fried okra for a side and a salad. The kids fare was pretty standard and unremarkable. The wait staff was very friendly, hospitable and helpful and the whole place was clean and was warm and welcoming. We will definitely go back!!

Best food in Goose creek. Gilligans is fun and we enjoy cocktail, apps, dinner and desert . First things first waitresses n bar bust up to take care of us . all you can eat oysters or shrimp what we like to partake . On Thursdays at 5 they have oyster roast w chili n live music for ten bucks . We enjoy it so much we have gotten to be regular and every staff member is very fun, efficient and caring ! It’s known for delicious complimentary hush puppies and I suggest you try ! Drink specials, promos , local coupons all offered to help us enjoy eating out in this economy . I have sampled oysters fish crab legs chicken low country stew etc all yummy I really enjoy the fried green tomatoes Crab legs . Calamari . Buffalo shrimp . Burgers . Chili and soups . Wedge salad . Pasta . I could go on but this is a local place with a great ambience , staff , selection , portions . I love to eat here and suggest you try it out ! Fins up ! Dem hush puppies … Coleslaw … Taters .. Southern elcectic casual seafood with a million choices . Did I mention sustainable seafood iniative and homemade tartar , cocktail etc . It’s all good . Enjoy !

Awful! The waitress completely switched my husbands sides with mine and then messed up my mashed potatoes by putting Bacon on it when i specifically for none. Food was terrible and way overpriced for the size portions you got. The only thing nice about going there is the nice building!

Hit or miss. I have been eating at the Goose Creek Gilligan for about 7-8 years and sometimes it’s great, sometimes not so much. Every once in a while, they have scallops to die for. Other times it is like chewing on a piece of rubber. The hushpuppies are usually very reliable. And the friend oysters are often quite good. I would suggest sticking to the surf and avoid the turf…this is a restaurant that should focus on its strengths. Overall I say it is an okay place, but they could use some stabilization in their supply and/or presentation.

Way over priced for what you get. I have eaten at Gilligan’s several times and each time I was disappointed. The food portions are small for the price and there is absolutely no presentation of the food. A little piece of kale or fruit would go along way and help cover up the lack of quanity. The best thing about this resturant is the hush puppies. The service was also good. Food is just okay.
