Love it. I live so close to sushi 101 in goose creek and its literally a ever week event if not more! the people that work there are great too! the food always fresh!
We eat here once a week! It is so yummy and really reasonably priced! You can get a huge hibachi meal for under $10! And the sushi is always fresh and a reasonable price!
Good but!. I like this restaurant, I have been going very frequently, in general is very good, but there is always room for improvement. For example I ordered sushi to go and also a yakisoba noodle dish, they packed both plates in the same bag, so my sushi was very warm when I got home, (not good eats). Also they could pay more attention to keep tables and floors cleaned up. Their service is great! love the food!
Once known as Little Tokyo now called Sushi 101. Decent prices for good sushi, I had the Half Baked Roll and it was really good. I would definitely recommend it. I also had the Beef Teriyaki Bowl, the beef was not over cooked and tasted great with the rice and mushrooms. The presentation on both dishes was nice. The service was a little slow but understandable to the recent change in ownership and new menu. If you live in the Goose Creek area I recommend you try this place if you like sushi or Japanese food in general. There is two full pages of Sushi to choose from, everything from Sashimi to your basic California Roll. Owned by the same family that owns Tsunami’s downtown.
Located where Little Tokyo was. Another sushi restaurant in the Goose Creek area of Charleston. Little Tokyo was sold to the Tsunami change of Sushi restaurants and is now Sushi 101 after some remodeling. Two of the original waitresses still work there and were happy to see us. The new restaurant has decent pricing and food. The day I went they had a special, buy 2 rolls get one roll free. Presentation was nice, service was great and sushi was tasty. The Yakisoba was ok but a smaller portion than the previous restaurant that was located here.
