Super cheap – super simple sandwiches – reminded me of grade school cafeteria sandwiches – not necessarily a bad thing.
It’s Dukes. Duke’s is a Greenville icon. Granted, you can make a lot of these sandwiches at home for cheaper. When I’m craving an HPO I always head to Dukes.
If you want a sandwich that you could make better at home, or if you want a sandwich that takes longer to make and costs more than what you can make at home… Duke sandwich co is your place. Most sandwichs were pre made and they did not seem happy to make a custom sandwich for me. The wheat bread they used is not ‘real’ wheat and the cole slaw that I got was not very good. With that said, the food was not bad, there is just no reason to go there ever again.
