Good – I went here for the first time last night and was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting another typical storefront/strip mall Mexican restaurant. Their salsa is great if you like some heat (they have mild too). I got the chicken fajitas and the portions were generous. Also $2.99 for a 32oz beer isn’t bad either! (during happy hour)
Bad experience this go round…the experience TOTALLY depends on your server. I’ve been a patron for several years and had mostly good times there. My server tonight was Yanet and if you get her…get up and sit somewhere else. I have been a server and have what most would consider ample patience. When you ask me if I need anything and I say I’d like to place a to go order – then you tell me you have things to do first and don’t come back to take my order for 10 mins…that’s a problem. Bottled beers shouldn’t take 10 mins either especially when you sit right beside the bar. I felt totally unimportant- especially when I get home and discover my to go order of fajitas with EXTRA tortillas (which I paid for) has no tortillas in the box. I’m staying away for a while- maybe for good. I’m generally a great tipper- 20-30% but tonight a 5% tip felt like I still got ripped off. Disappointed 100%.
Best In Greenville. Dishes here you won’t see in the White Cheddar places. Hooked on their chievche – good and inexpensive.
I agree with the previous reviewer: not too bad. They have some interesting menu items like octopus cocktail and whole, fried fish. They serve menudo twice per week. Wow! Our meals were the usual stuff. Would come back but wouldn’t go out of my way to do so.
