I went with my husband and had no idea what kind of restaurant we were walking into. We have eaten in New York City, and this compared well with that. The waitress was adorable and enthusiastic. The price was kind of high for pizza, but definitely worth it. Listen to the spiel, they do things different than most pizza places, everything is extra, but the portions are generous, and a medium pizza was plenty for two.
Pizza Just Like in Brooklyn. Authentic New York pizza has arrived in Greenville! We have eaten at the oldest pizza places in New York City (Lombardi’s, Grimaldi’s, Sally’s and Totonno’s) and love that style of pizza. Grimaldi’s in Greenville tastes exactly the same as it does in NYC. Manager Mike explains that is not an accident – the company takes steps including formulating the water to match NYC water so the final products are true to the original taste. Even if you never order a plain cheese pizza, try one here. Less is more – the fresh flavors of the tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil are so simple and delicious that you will love this pizza. And please don’t eat it with a fork.

Whether you are wanting to enjoy a beverage on the patio, or bring the family in for dinner, Grimaldi’s will please the toughest critic!
