Delish! Went here for restaurant week and was able to sample many items from beef to scallops. We ordered an oyster sampler before we started and they were out of one kind we asked for but they gave us an extra one to make up for it! Can’t wait to go back!
The food was very good. My waitress, excellent. The problem is that, since I travel solo for work a great deal, I also eat alone many evenings. Some restaurants are incredibly welcoming to solo diners, even women. Some not so.much. when I approached the hostess stand I was told that all the tables were reserved but I could try to find a place at the bar if I wanted, which I did. There were a number of tables vacant when I arrived and all but one still vacant when I left. I understand that seating a single at a 4 top is a potential loss of income. What I don’t understand is being misled. And, frankly, had the hostess offered me a 4 top I would still have sat at the bar. I’ve done food service and understand the value proposition. I would NOT take up a 4 top for just myself. Singles aren’t pariah, we are often alone because of work. Don’t treat us like there’s something wrong with us.
