The only reason this doesnt get a full 5 (the food is worthy) is because the ambience is a 3 at best. This place looks unpromisingly like an undergrad dive bar/club in a strip mall (which it is, in part), but the kitchen is deserving of a real restaurant space. I heard the food was great and no one was disappointed! My shrimp & grits, generosity swimming in the most delicious bourbon-cream sauce, was to die for. One of the best Ive ever had. Others were pleased, too, with barbacoa nachos, pulled pork sandwich, and many-meats BBQ plate, also have a decent list of craft draft (about 25) and of course a full bar. Service was spotty but friendly, and if you werent eating in a pool hall environment, it would be really unbeatable.

This is a sports bar that happens to serve some bbq. I wouldn’t call it a bbq place per se. The bbq brisket sandwich was good, for a sports bar. The beer selection was great, and if you order a shot, their pour is more than generous. The place was clean, staff were friendly, they have good pool tables, darts, table tennis and other games, plus plenty of big screens. There is now a sign outside that says to see a bartender on entry, as they don’t have individual servers for the tables, it’s a little unusual, but it works. All in all a very good experience. I’m also told their wings are the best and the Saturday and Sunday brunch is supposed to be the tops, which I intend to try the next time I’m in town.
LOVE Local Cue. My favorite bar in Greenville. Not only do they have pool tables, but other games like cornhole. Very chill atmosphere, and a good place for young professionals. Reasonable drink prices. Plus, the cheese fries are amazing.
