Great food best price. Although they don’t deliver No1 China is my choice for call in orders, quick, friendly and appreciative service every time. Upon my request they have made dishes for me that were not already on the menu.No.1 China has as good or better tasting food than I have had in some of the finest restaurants in China Town, Los Angeles, Ca. Always a smile and a welcome when I walk in to pick up my order, don’t forget to feed the tip jar on the counter after paying as they do package well for take out orders.
Love this place!. This place looks like a whole in the wall, but it is absolutely fantastic. I just moved into Greenville and No 1 is the closest place that serves hot and sour soup with tofu rather than pork. I ordered it once and it was phenomenal, then went back for take-out a couple of other times and everything my husband and I ordered was just as great. And they’re super nice with customizing orders, also! Would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Your neighborhood Chinese joint. This is my go-to place for Chinese. Yes, that’s largely because it’s in my neighborhood and it’s quick and easy to pick up food (sadly, they don’t deliver). But, the bottom line is that the food is good. Not spectacular, but reliably good, which is what I’m looking for in my neighborhood Chinese take out. I always stick with the more common dishes. Hunan or Kung Pao chicken, for example. Wonton soup is nice and they do their egg rolls the right way. Spicy dishes aren’t particularly spicy, so don’t hesitate to ask for extra heat if you’re so inclined. If you live in the neighborhood, you should support this place. It’s a small, family run operation and they work really hard. Every neighborhood needs a place like this.
