When I think of orange I think of Tanners. Sorry Tigers and Vols but when you say big orange I think of food!Tanners is Greenville’s answer to the Beacon. So it’s a little frayed and long in the tooth but when food is the subject consistency and cleanliness are my top concerns.Great dogs, toasted bun burgers that don’t break the bank and plenty of choices. Some of those girls have worked there for decades and that says a lot. The orange punch is awesome, elsewhere I only go for tea or water.Skinny fries are a home run.
This has been Greenville institution for 60+ years, but heaven alone knows why. From the entrance, with cigarette butts scattered on red pebbles, through the heavy smell of stale grease that fills the air and to the sullen staff that dishes out tasteless food this is an unmitigated nightmare. Usually, I take several meals a restaurant before writing a review, but in this case I stopped with one breakfast and one lunch. Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.
