Best BBQ in the Upstate. Hands down THE best, don’t bother going elsewhere.
Phenomenal BBQ. You won’t regret eating here. Pork was great, the half chicken was amazing, and the homemade BBQ sauces were the best I ever had. To top it off, the people were so friendly.

Good gone bad!. Have been wanting to try this place for a while since we live very close, so we went in for lunch. The food was very good, and the prices were reasonable! All was going great and then the man behind the counter began clipping his finger nails right where they were serving the food. (clip, clip, clip is all i could hear. It was terrible!) We were the only people in the restaurant, but that should NOT be an excuse! It was the most discussing thing I have seen in a Resturant!!! We will NOT be going back!
Just Average BBQ. I have wanted to try this place for a while now. So since they have weird hours (mostly lunch hours) I happen to be off on Thursday and in the area, so I decided to drop in.A few people told me it was good and I needed to try it. To me it was just average to below average. The pulled pork was ok but would have been good if it had a little more bark in it. You could taste a little bit of the smoke taste and was better when I mixed in some of the sweet and mild sauce they have. The ribs were a different story. Some of the worst ribs I have had. I was watching the girl fix my food and she gets the ribs out of a holding bin and they were wrapped in plastic ribs and she cut them out of it. It tasted like they had cooked them the day before and then microwaves them in the plastic wrap when I ordered them. Being in the plastic wrap made the ribs very soggy on the outside and it had no smoke taste. I wanted to try the chicken but the person in front of me had order the last off it.For sides I got some fries (which were good), sweet potato (which was good as well) and pork skins. I like that they have pork skins as a side and they are cooked to order just like the fries. Also they give you 2 hushpuppies which were good as well. I like that they have several different sauces to try. I had ordered take out and did not see this until after I had already told her what sauce I wanted. I am not going to rate this place just yet. I like to give places a second try before I say I don’t like them unless they are really bad. I think this place may have potential and it could have been an off day. I will revisit this one and let you know.
Omg the baked beans are amazing. They aren’t too sweet and have an incredible smoky flavor. The sweet potato crunch is an original and insane! Mashed sweet potatoes topped with brown sugar and pecans. Yummm. The baked mac and cheese was average. The fries were pretty terrible. Pulled pork was average and a tiny bit dry. Lots of sauces to choose from. Hot mustard and New North Carolina were great. Jake’s Sauce had a nice cherry BBQ flavor and not as overpowering with the cherry taste as the Cheer Wine sauce.
