Great food and menu. My wife is a picky eater and she liked it to. I have had the brisket hamburgers and veggiesAll are great. The only reason we don’t go more is the prices. Lots of locals
One of the most incredible meals Ive had in years. The vibe is relaxed but upscale BBQ house, with great service, a first-rate cocktail menu (plus craft beer & wine), and the food is just mind-blowing. Ive never had better brisket, homemade sauces, or sides (the bacon baked beans and onion rings were incredible on their own). But the standout overall: Potater Tots for an app, which are housemade tots with pork shoulder folded in, topped with crispy fried pig ear garnish, BBQ sauce & scallions. It was seriously one of the best things Ive ever tasted, and Im not a huge carnivore (and generally avoid stuff like pig ears). My friend and I were both blown away by the whole experience, and decided that we needed T-shirts to commemorate the night. All The Stars to these guys!
Cute place, decent pulled pork, fast service. Pulled pork doesn’t have sauce, you need to ask for it on the side. Red potato salad was good, not great.
The business appears to be closed in the. Anyone going to confirm that? I did not see a sign that they relocated. It says the review has to be longer than a hundred and forty characters but the restaurant is closed there’s not much more you can say about that and that’s all I’m going to say about that.
So I went for my first visit to Bacon Bros as suggested by my co-workers and at best I have a mixed review. First things first, the food was good, if a bit overpriced, but I am OK paying for a good meal. The burger was cooked medium well by default and I was not asked how I would like it. This doesn’t bother me, but be aware if you like your burger cooked more you may want to mention such. The bacon was delicious, as was the burger, the real problem here was the service. Being a lunch break I obviously had limited time, fortunately traffic was on my side and I got there quick, this is where my luck would end. 5 minutes after sitting down the manager (I can only assume) took my drink order because the waitress had yet to come by my table. Mind you they had 2 waitresses on staff and only 4 other tables (3 of which were pairs). 10 minutes after receiving my drink (a $7 beer) my waitress appears. No small talk, no mention of any specials, just wanted to take my order. I asked about grilling the onions on the burger and she said they could do that. So I asked for lettuce tomato and grilled onions, with a side of fries; but this is not what I would get.The kitchen was quick to make the burger which would have been great, if the food did not sit on the counter because again my waitress is nowhere to be found. The manager notices about 5 minutes later and brings my food, minus any lettuce or tomato or the fries I ordered with the meal. I mention the fries because at this point I’m rushed for time and it’s not worth the wait to take the burger back. Again the food was delicious, the fries were salted lightly, the burger was great and I am in no way disappointed with that aspect of this trip. After finishing my meal I watched as another table had to flag down their waitress just to get more ketchup, so it’s not just me at this point. It takes me another 10 minutes of waiting just to get my waitress to bring my bill. You have 1 of 2 problems here. Either you have a poor wait staff, or you are under staffing for your needs. I believe it is the former. This could have easily been a 4 or 5 star review, but no matter how good your food is, if the service sucks, so does your restaurant. For what its worth my co-workers insist this is a fluke, and that I should try again, but I think I might just pass on giving this place a second chance as other reviews as of late show their service is going downhill. Before writing this review I took the time to try and find some contact info on the website (there is only the general number) and their Facebook page doesnt exists. I hope that someone at this company reads over these reviews so they can get their restaurant back on track.
O.M.G. This place tastes like heaven! Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. We began our afternoon with the charcuterie- some things I would not have attempted, but here? Down the hatch! Everything was delish! Then came the deviled eggs. I could have eaten all of them! And that Devil’s Dust? Wow…I want it!!!!! Our table ordered a variety- no duplicate items, and we tried it all!! You CANNOT go wrong with the menu!
The food and service are always excellent. My favorite is the BET (pork belly pastrami and duck egg) sandwich is deelish. My husband had the smoke fried half chicken and it was smokey and tender.
