My husband and I love Bikas! It’s our favorite lunch date or dinner in a pinch place. Bikas is pretty much the only burger joint around with fresh, house cut fries and juicy hand pattied burgers. The Blue Bell ice cream isn’t bad either.
I’ve been coming to bikas for about 3 years and love it! The food is always fresh and hot. They have never gotten my order wrong. Huge burgers, lots of fries, amazing hush puppies! Service is always extremely nice! And now they have a new location on wade hampton!
I was very impressed. It was my first time and they greeted me like I was a regular. I got the western cheeseburger 1/2 1/2. The western burger was delicious, it was so big I took part of it home with me. The onion rings were great. After my meal I got a chocolate milkshake. It was amazing. It wasn’t a soft serve milkshake like the other fast food places, it was made with real ice cream. Overall it was a very good experience and I will return. My only negative comment is that I would like to have more fries but I do believe I got my money’s worth.
BAD SERVICE. I ordered a club sandwich at the drive thru. When I got home it had no ham or turkey on it. I called and was told I had to drive over and get another sandwich. It was 8:45PM and being a senior woman I did not want to go out. I told them I would like a sandwich another day or a refund tomorrow. I was told 4 employees witnessed the ham and turkey on the sandwich. Yeah Right! I got my sister and went back taking a portion of the sandwich. I was basically called a liar saying I had taken the meat off. I was humilated in front of other patrons and refused any kind of refund. I am from Arizona so much for Southern Hospitality.
Erwin. Depressing overall. I got a bbq sandwich and half/half onion rings and fries.Though the bbq was ok, its was slathered,so thickly with sauce, it seemed like a sauce sandwich.Thats the good part. The bad part was the miniscule fries and onion rings. Can you believe they put in all in a tiny paper tray?? There were perhaps 4 tiny onion rings and maybe 8 very, very skinny fries. Most all the Greek drive-in’s are very generous with stuff like fries/o.rings….but this place is one to avoid. You can do better anywhere else.
Decent Food At Decent Prices. I agree with a previous reviewer, Gerry. I had expected a bit more after having just read their review in the local newspaper. My food was good and served hot. The onion rings were definitely better than all the chain restaurants and drive-ins in town, but I guess I had expected huge rings with the good old fashioned breading. Their’s are heavy on the corn meal, tasty but just not my favorite. (Think Varsity of Beacon)The clientele were obviously regulars since the proprietor greeted most of them by name. Perhaps a regular crowd tends to overlook things like the men’s restroom being out of order and everyone having to use the adjacent women’s room. The cooking area, counters and tables appeared clean, but that men’s restroom was an appetite suppressant. All in all, I felt that it was a fair value for the money but I hope they do some refurbishing in the near future. To stay in business adjacent to a Dairy Queen would suggest that they have dones things better in the past.
Friendly people, OK burgers and fries (but nothing special) and surroundings from the 1950’s (not in a good way). Whatever else you do here, don’t use the bathrooms.
