4 onion rings…….really??. 4 small onion rings is what you get in your order. Taste and look like something you get in the frozen foods at grocery store. Got the chili cheese fries large size and the cost was $3.45. I got less than 20 fries and they were cold and soggy during lunch rush! The chili was the nastiest I have ever seen or tasted and there was barely any on my extremely small portion of large fries! The hot dogs are awesome, however and its the only thing I have eaten that I can recommend.

Very Disappointed. My husband & I have always enjoyed our lunches at Cookout in Greenville but today the hamburger was below expectation. The meat was not freshly cooked. It was way overdone and very dry even with the chili on it. If this had been our first visit to Cookout we would not return. But because all our other experiences have been great we will give them another chance.
Food is really good and it’s cheap! The shakes are so good! Can’t beat it!
I don’t understand the hype.. Sure, the food is cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. When I ordered onion rings as part of a combo, I expected more than four of them, especially when three were no more than an inch across. Of course, they tasted like they came out of a grocery store frozen food section, so it’s not like I really enjoyed them to begin with. In fact, everything gave me that vibe. The burger was okay, but I’ve had much, much better. I really don’t understand what people love so much about this place.
Good Cheap Grilled Food. I have been going to Cook-Out for years when they were just a small chain in NC. You just cannot beat the prices here with their combo. They are always packed and very fast. Sometimes it kind of gives me the vibe of In & Out Burger on the West Coast. The burgers are very good and the hot dogs are awesome because they grill the wiener which taste like you are at an outdoor cook out. They have tons of milkshakes and floats but my favorite is the Cheerwine Float. They are open into the early hours of the morning. If you go I suggest not during rush hours of 11:30a to 2p and from 6p to 8p because they will be packed and lined out into the road.
