I really like the food here. I always get a stromboli, and the sauce is really good. The wait staff was friendly and I didn’t wait long for my food. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Upstate. While they seem to have a lot of bad reviews, they changed management and I don’t think any of them still apply as far as I could tell.
New and Improved. There have quite few changes happening at Dimitri’s. We are under new management. We have a great new menu. We apologize to the customers for the inadvertent idea that they can’t get their old favorites. We have authentic Greek food along with traditional pasta dishes. Come give us try. You wont be disappointed.

The other waitresses and hostesses are not friendly to each other or the customers. The owner is … Unprofessional to put it nicely and the food had gotten progressively worse in the past few years. ALMOST EVERYTHING IS FROZEN and that includes all deserts offered. I also remember having to scoop moldy ice cubes put of the ice maker to avoid customer complaints. The cooks are notorious for smoking while they prepare food and the food could take over an hour to even be made. Please. Do NOT waste your time
Great place. I love this place!! The best Greek/Italian food around. We used to drive from Greer to eat here. Now we live in The Links, so we are even closer! We eat here all the time. Thanks for the great food and service!!
Was a good restaurant. I don’t know what happened to the place. I moved close to gowansville two years ago and it was a great place to eat. I ordered the same pizza almost every Friday. The last few months it has been terrible. Slow even for take out orders and the food is differen. The staff had no direction. They stand around looking bored and depressed while you wait 45 minutes for ok food. (Not great…….anymore) I’m sad because it is literally the only place to eat in the middle of no where.
Terrible. When we got there, the entire staff were on their cell phones. When we got seated and were asked for our drinks, it felt awkward as we wanted wine and not sweet tea. The food was boring and tastless, the pasta tasted as if it was freezer burned, the lasagna was like rubber. Wont be back gross!
