Will never go there again. We just left Mimi’s on Woodruff Rd. They were busy so we were waiting for someone to seat us. As we were waiting in line this Asian family came in and went to the front of the line. When Mimi came to seat people this rude family told her how many they had in their party. When those of us who were in line before them complained Mimi said nothing and sat the Asian famil . 4 families including us walked ou .
Needs to keep the hours of the store… I have been a regular at the woodruff Road location for many years due to the sushi being so much better than anything else in the area but recently they have been shutting their doors up to an hour before close which is unfortunate when I work late.
Not the same. I used to be a regular at both locations in Simpsonville and Woodruff rd. This place has seriously gone downhill the past few years. The people who seem to run the restaurant for Mimi while she isn’t there are too busy either on their phones, drinking or there is some other chick who is constantly caking her face up in front of customers. They are rude, the chefs don’t interact and all around its falling apart. The grills are always nasty. I went a couple of weeks ago with my family and there was oil leaking from the top, onto the grill. How disgusting!!!!! Last time I ever go back to Mimis. She needs to retire or find a better staff overall
Just an average customer. We went in tonight for what my sweet girls were so excited would be a great meal and we had to wait over 30 minutes at the table for a chef to come start cooking our food. We ended up having to take our food to go because we were already late for our theater movie this evening. 🙁 The worst part was that I was told my girls could not share a meal and the proportions are huge and the price is not cheap. The waiter said we had to pay extra for another proportion and then we ended up having to share anyway…not happy and will not return–not to mention missed some of our movie!!!! Sad because I have taken many friends to Japanese Steak houses before and we never had this poor of service! Very unsatisfied and I am not one to usually write and complain!
Horrible service, the rice was undercooked and crunchy, food is way over priced. Sakuras is a much better choice!

Very clean, good service, and nice atmosphere. BUT, if you’re looking to get some great-tasting sushi, I would not go here. The spicy tuna roll is pretty bland, and the blue crab roll was very fishy-tasting. I will not go back for sushi.
