Great food! Quick self service style. Only criticism is that you can’t underestimate the importance of fresh iced tea in the south. They had two of those round metal tea dispensers that were automatically fed by Gold Peak pre-made tea… Ech. But that’s ok, I got Diet Coke instead.
Tortas and gorditas…..yummy!!!. A few of our friends recommended this place for authentic Mexican food and they couldn’t have been more right!! Their gorditas are excellent as well as their tortas! So glad Five Forks has this gem! Great food, service and salsa bar!!
After moving to Simpsonville from Houston we were so happy to find this restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is great. If we crave Mexican food this is the only place we will go to.
Tried my first gordita there the other night. Got it with chicken. Mmmm. Very friendly staff, clean, more relaxing than Moes which felt nicer with a 15-month-old after a long day. They even have a few toys for the kids, very nice clean bathroom (no changing table as of June 2013 but I think the large comfy chair in the bathroom would have worked if I’d needed it).
Bold new Look. Truly Fast casual Mexican place! Delicious Veggie Burrito and endless salsa bar. There no need to go Chipotle because at Uncle Berto’s you will get the best burritos and more. I Love this place.
Greenville’s home of the giant burrito. I missed the burritos that I use to get in the Chicago area and this place filled that void. Now that I’ve found Uncle Berto I eat there a couple times a week.
Authentic flavors cooked to order. Watch as your food is prepared. Reasonable prices for portion size. My favorite is the gordita.
