Best darn restaurant anywhere close to Greenwood. It is worth the drive to Greenwood for this treat. Greenville, Anderson, Columbia and outside these areas, you should venture to this one. While everything is great, the filet is excellent. Forget those out side or out back joints and try a prime steak that ranks with New York and other major cities. Everything is worth trying. They are open for lunch too, try the Ruben and it’s a non smoking hopping bar scene, especially Monday when they sample the upcoming specials.
Best Staff in Town. Just wanted to say the staff at Montague’s is wonderful. I use Montague’s for personnel and business. The food is great and atmosphere is the Best. Great place to stop in for after work drink or to take the wife for a dinner for two.Thanks for all you do!
Steak. Hands down the best steak in town! Although they have many other great items on the menu, their filet is top notch! My wife and I have been here a number of times and are always pleased with the great service, food, and atmosphere!
AMAZING!. The food here is amazing. We eat there at least once a week and have also had them cater an event at work. Every time we have been amazed at the food, service, and overall experience that we received! If you don’t go try it out, you are definitely missing out!
Local Legend. Always a must stop when in the uptown Greenwood area. Meals are great and reasonably priced, service is quick and attentive without being intrusive. Great bar atmosphere comfortable for locals and newcomers alike. Specials keep the choices fresh. Quality, locally sourced ingredients makes Montague’s a big hit!
Montague’s never disappoints, from the friendly and efficient waitstaff, pleasant relaxing ambiance, to the fantastic food! Its always delighful! If you don’t see it on the menu ask they will always try to accommodate your desires or needs.
This is an awesome restaurant. Food and service are excellent. Well managed, diverse menu by a seasoned chef and friendly prompt service. Seems to be a local place. I have enjoyed many meals here, and all are perfectly prepared.
