Food fabulous, setting delightful, service condenscending. Guillermo, who has many positive ratings here, so surprised us when that was not the case. Granted we were 4 women, 2 of whom ordered apps as entrees, 2 ordered full entrees, we all experienced Guillermo to be rude and sanctimonious. As soon as we made our order his attitude became petulant and obnoxious. He was not gracious nor fine dining qualified in this circumstance. Too bad he misjudged us, the entire group up-tips as standard practice. I would love to go back to Alfreds for the terrific food but would only go if I were assured a waiter other than Guillermo. What could have been a perfect evening turned creepy and uncomfortable with Guillermo’s surly, arrogant attitude.

Guillermo, the host, makes you feel welcome and important, making sure to introduce himself and ensure your experience is everything you would hope for. Upon return to HH, I will frequent alfreds. A true gem.
The Chilean sea Bass is to die for. The absolute best warm apple strudel of my life! A true gem!
A Level Above the Rest. Alfreds is a place that you rarely find in a tourist place like HHI The food is amazing, you can tell the chef puts his heart and soul into the food. Truly an experience worthy of patronizing !5 star all the way
Best Sea bass. I’ve been going to Hilton Head for the past 32 years, and this was my first time of trying chilean sea bass… I can honestly say it’s one of the best fish that I have ever tasted..Escargot is out of this world looking forward to going back to Hilton Head and to Alfreds…
