Not nearly as good as at home. Food was okay. Wait staff was lack luster. Felt the waiter was always behind. Many dirty dishes waited until we asked that they be removed. Our waiter was clueless on the wine list.
Good shrimp. Wednesday Night, the place was packed. Must be those $5 bang bang shrimp and $3 house wine. Loved the fish but not the chips. Next time will try the corn chowder with lump crab meat.
The fresh strawberry martini was divine too!18 Jun, 2012The restaurant was very nice. The service was adequate but the food was very good. I recommend the Rainbow Trout with the Pan Asian sauce it was cooked to perfection!
Service was horrible- not even busy. Food was average. Will never go back.
Service is excellent, waitress explained the entire menu as well as her favorites and was quick to respond to our many needs. Food was wonderful, fresh and flavorful. Overall great experience.
Fell short in so many ways. If somebody is looking for the comfort of a corporate chain and is not too particular about the food, this may be an okay choice. No apparent attempt to source fish locally, everything seems to be straight out of the freezer and sauced to the point of total camouflage.Unfortunately, our experience was pretty unimpressive. For the starters, the sashimi was actually pretty good (though I’m a little confused with searing something and calling it sashimi), but the salads were plain and the corn/crab chowder was downright bland. For mains, almost everyone got the fish specials but discovered all the very creative sauces were either without the strong flavor elements that teased us from the menu of specials, or again, downright bland. For deserts, the key lime pie and the coconut pie (think big macaroon with a crust drizzled with caramel sauce and topped with whipped cream) were both big winners.I guess we’d have been okay with an average/expensive dinner if we felt the service was up to par, but it was a little surprising to see a corporate restaurant with such poorly trained staff. In the spirit of constructive criticism and positive feedback, we tried to touch base with the manager to say how hopelessly overworked our server was and (it appeared to us) how the restaurant was understaffed and all we got was crazy rantings of a manager that didn’t seem all there for some reason.Chain Restaurant Fail!
Are they always in a hurry? This isn’t the first time we had three courses placed on the table all at once. WTF!?!?
