The service was great and the restaurant was clean, but I don’t know if id return. The fish was very good but I thought $14.95 was a bit over priced for fried fish & French fries. The lobster roll was ok but I don’t think I would get it again.
Rightfully good reputation. On our visit we tried the Pub. I love fish&chips and it was rumored to have some of the best. And they were right. Excellent, fresh, and ideally prepared. And a large enough portion to make another next day – when coupled with an equally good Scotch egg (which I love). We would have returned another night but had to cut the vacation short – but we’ll definitely make it a stop next time through.

Nice pub with solid food and good fish and chips
The food was excellent and reasonably priced. There is a wide range of beers offered. Don’t miss Thursday lobster special. A whole maine lobster and sides for only $19.99 but you must reserve by Wednesday 7PM!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m a Brit, and a good fish and chip critic!Flaky white fish, nice light batter that doesent leave a oily taste in your mouth. Very nice. Served with chips that could have been crisper, but they were ok with malt vinegar.
Awesome Food. This is our second visit to this restaurant and both times the food was awesome. The fish and chips are done really well, the chicken and chips are done in thr same batter as the fish and ate really good too. My daughter has the Shepards pie and she loved it. The portion sizes are very large–in fact leftovers were eaten the next day for lunch. The service was great and the people were friendly. Would definitely return here on our next trip to Hilton head.
