We’ve been coming to HHI for 6 years now and have had a chance to try authentic BBQ at several places. Bullies, so far, has been the best. I have seen some negative reviews for this place and respectfully disagree with the reviewers.We ordered a take-out dinner for 4-6 that included:- full rack of ribs- pulled pork- brisket- pulled chicken- mac & cheese- coleslaw- jalapeno cheddar cornbreadWe also ordered a side of collard greens which were very tasty.The lowdown…….All the meat was smoked to perfection. Better still, was that the meat was moist and tender. Nothing was over salted as reported by others.Risking a cliche, the meat did actually fall off the bone on the generous portion of ribs. The dry rub was great and just the right amount.The sauces were all good. I liked the ‘slow burn’ sauce the best. Just a little bit spicy.I’m not a fan of mac and cheese in general, but this stuff was great. Bullies adds a bit of bacon/pork to the mac which imparts on the flavor giving it a subtle smokiness.The jalepeno cornbread was so good it could have been considered a dessert. We actually had the leftover cornbread warmed up with butter the next morning with our coffee.Our family of 4 had more than enough to eat the night of the order as well as plenty of leftovers for pulled pork/chicken and brisket sandwiches the next for lunch.Next time we’re doing BBQ, we’re headed straight for Bullies.
The different sauces were awesome meat tender and juicy but I would suggest to try something other than the mac n cheese wish I could’ve tried the kickin collards instead overall great would given a full 5 of the mac was better.
Wow! Got ribs and pulled pork with slaw. Really great. Liked both but pulled pork the best!
Good Carolina BBQ with a choice (5) of sauces. Laid back Southern style or carry out. Closes about an hour too early so don’t procrastinate.
Good Food, andlots of it. My wife and I had lunch at Bullies yesterday. It was so good and filling that we didn’t need to eat any supper.
My new BBQ Spot! Pulled pork was the best I’ve ever had. The owner has 8 French Bulldogs (and I only have 1) but SUCH an awesome guy and great and friendly staff! I can’t wait to come back!!
Excellent BBQ. The brisket was super tender and cooked to perfection. The pulled pork was also excellent. The multiple sauce choices were very good. I highly recommend this BBQ.
