Great little trendy place, service was a little slow but, the food made up for this little hiccup. Nice beer selection, eclectic food choices, with something for everyone. Had the Spicy Shrimp Tacos, which were the best I have ever had. The kale and quinoa salad (which is warm by the way), was quite tasty once I added a squirt of lemon, followed by the Brussel sprout and bacon and the totally awesome jalapeo cornbread! Great decor, rather rustic with the burlap curtains, the basket and steel tub shades for the ceiling lighting, and the tin roofing lining the walls. If in town be sure to stop in!

My beer was served in a frosted glass – always a plus in my book. The service was a tad slow but very pleasant. I had 2 chicken tacos for $10 and ordered a side of brussel sprouts with bacon for $5.50. The side order was easily shared with my husband. Our food was very good. The smoked chicken was excellent.

Great food, service, and decor! Pulled chicken and blackened tilapia were especially good. The salad was big enough for all three of us and was terrific. Love the focus on healthy fare here.

This is probably the worst restaurant we tried the week we were at HHI. The food was marginal and not many choices…more trendy style…but the service was horrible. We were right in the path of our server, but somehow we were forgotten. We were there nearly 2 hours, most of that waiting (and it wasn’t crowded). If you eat outside you may have to eat at a picnic table, which is ridiculous considering the price of the food.

My husband and I ate here for dinner. Great atmosphere. Cool craft cocktail list (I had the watermelon mojito and my husband had the Carolina tea). The menu is diverse and very reasonably priced. Had the blackened fish bowl and the fried chicken bowl, both were great. Good for groups and kids.

Wonderful food and great service!! We had the ‘pimento cheese chips bread and bread/butter pickle’ appetizer which sounds like a weird combination. But it was outstanding – interesting flavor and texture especially when taken together. Then we had the blackened fish tacos with peppedew sauce – once again great combination. Everything was very fresh. We topped it off with a homemade ice cream sandwhich. It was delicious. Even the unsweetened ice tea was just right (strong in a good way). All of the textures and favors together made an extremely satisfying meal. I highly recommend this eating experience to everyone. And for the locals-please check it out. You have quite a treasure in your community!!

I want to like it! Everything we had was just short of being recommendable. The mushroom ricotta toast appetizer was served on sandwich bread and lacked that special twist to put it over the top! My fish tacos as well as half the menu needed to be void of arugula! My roasted Brussel sprouts were soggy leading one to assume they were more than likely steamed then crisped in a pan before serving. The waiter walked by three times after serving food before checking to see if everything was ok. My husbands flank steak hot bowl boasted of caramelized onions which had they been actually caramelized instead of merely sauted the dish would have been perfectly rounded out. The service was ok, atmosphere standard, menu overwhelmed with arugula!
