Hidden gem. Great family owned restaurant. Flora is the hostess and makes the best desserts. Her husband does all the cooking and their son is the waiter. The food is excellant. We went their twice on a recent golf trip. They have the best veal. Great pasta dishes. Had several appetizers:meatball, calamari, and escargot. All done in a unique way and were excellant. I would definately go back if we were in Hilton Head again. The best restaurant by far that we tried in the area.
Absolutely Delicious!. We were a large group ranging in ages 16 – 55 and everyone cleaned their plate! My son even wanted to lick his plate to get every drop of the sauce that was on his ravioli. We had the eggplant, calamari & tuna appetizers. All were very fresh and eaten by the whole table. My Brother-in-law had steak which he said was cooked perfectly. (Not something I would ever order in an Italian restaurant so we were glad he was pleased.) Our group had veal, chicken, seafood and pasta as well. There was something from every part of the menu. All was very tasty. The service was laid back, but we were in no rush. We were all stuffed after our entrees but the list of homemade desserts sounded too good to pass up. We shared 3. The homemade desserts were worth going back for. Next time we will split a dish to make sure we have extra room for individual desserts! One strange note,,,the restaurant was not very full when we were there, other restaurants in the area had quoted us a wait time and this one said come right over. Maybe it is a well kept secret that the food is so good.
Floras is an absolute delight. Bronco our waiter is always very attentive. Every course is delightful especially the veal. Save room for dessert! We visit every time we are in town. Our parents are regulars there.
Wonderful dinner. We went with a group of nineteen for Valentine’s Day dinner. The service was impeccable, and each of us enjoyed our meal. Flora’s is a must on our trips to Hilton Head.
Terrible Service. We waited 1/2 hour and no one came over to ask for our order so we left. I don’t know if they were short handed that night but it was terrible service. The lady telling us about the specials wasn’t even looking at us she was looking around and speaking to other workers in between specials. We will never go back.
Flora’s is a wonderful restaurant to go to if you want some really good Italian food! We ordered the fried calamari for an appetizer, and it was the best fried calamari I have ever had!
