LOVE this joint! Try some cajun food to break up the monotiny of island fare! Big portions & tastes fantastic! YUM! Consistently good! It’s tucked out of the way a bit, but worth looking for.
The food here is as it should be to be billed as LA style. The only thing that could have made my Shrimp Poboy better would have been for Shrimp season to be open. The Gumbo was excellent, perfectly seasoned.
The best place we could have chosen for dinner. Food was outstanding and reasonable, seating is limited and you will wait for your food but hang in there because it’s worth the wait.
Great food! Excellent service! Not overly spicy for the kids and just right for us. Voodoo pasta was creamy and delicious. Steamed shrimp disappeared before main meal showed up.
A great place to go in Hilton Head. Food is amazing. Kids and adults loved their meals. We had shrimp and grits and Carrollton casserole chicken fingers and chilled shrimp. All delicious. Save room for beignets!
As a person who went to LSU and spent 5 years in Louisiana this place was below average. Not trying to say you can only have good food in Louisiana, I’ve had plenty of great New Orleans/Cajun style food outside of Louisiana, just was not impressed with this one. Not sure why it gets such a high rating.
I’ve only tried the Sunday breakfast. Talk about over cooked food…. Maybe it had been cooking since the previous Sunday! It was so bad that I don’t even want to give them a 2nd chance!!!
