Well, we experienced the rude lady on our first and last visit. The samples request made the ice cream old person cranky and since we were ordering 7 servings we thought we’d be more welcome. The ice cream was ok, nothing special. So, since we didn’t like the attitude, there wasn’t anything to get us to return.
Great gluten free options.. Had fantastic gf soup, crazy good paninni and superb ice cream on a gf cone. Great place to stop for a bite or a full lunch. Made this gluten free girl feel almost normal!
BEST OF THE BEST ON Hilton Head. MUNCHIES is a small local shop that serves a variety of sandwiches, salads, wraps and paninis. Our whole family ordered different things from a Panini with Brie, cranberry, pear and turkey to a Chili Hot Dog. EVERYTHING was terrific. Very fresh and large portions. My son said his chili dog was the best he ever had. What a compliment from a ten year old. We walked around the little village where they are located and then came back for ice cream. The place was packed. You could tell it was a real locals place as the wait staff knew just about everyone when they came in the door. They treated us the same. Very friendly and kidded us when we came back for the ice cream. We went back again on our way home. Will definitely go back next year when visiting Hilton Head.
Worst deli restaurant I have ever been to, rudest server ever no politeness whatsoever while she took care of me. Also they charged me because i decided to split my sandwich with the person i was along with. After we tried to get ice cream and and only let us try one kind… are you serious? Worst customer service.. food was allright nothing amazing or special about it.

Great spot, staff and food. The food was really great, high quality meats. The best part was the staff, so helpful and friendly. Eat here, I’ll be back on our next trip.
WHAT A GREAT FIND!. Was stolling down Main Street on HHI looking to buy some gifts and happend on this cute store MUNCHIES. Oh boy, I was immediately greeted and asked if I wanted lunch, ice cream or snacks. I wanted all after looking around and seeing the lunches, homemade chocolates and desserts behind the counter and the ice cream. I settled on getting a waffle cone of white chocolate raspberry truffle ice cream. It was wonderful. I brought some homemade chocolates home to the family and they insisted that we go back that night so we did. All the ice cream was wonderful, the staff was extrememly helpful in helping us decide between homemade chocolate or pumpkin cheesecake or a brownie sundae. We got a little of everything and thoroughly enjoyed it all. Not a drop left on any plate. This is a wonderful friendly place filled with both locals and tourists. A definate find. We will be coming back every year.
